SBI and the US Economy
As our economy continues to spiral downward, I’ve been thinking long and hard about how I can earn extra cash for my family. I don’t think my husband is in any danger of losing his job, thankfully, but we’re feeling the pinch, too, with rising medical care costs (an extra $200/month) and an employer that is no longer contributing to his 401k. Not that his 401k is worth much right now anyway
With layoffs happening all over the country (and, let’s face it, the world ,for those US companies that employ people internationally) it just becomes more apparent that you can’t count on anyone but yourself to earn a consistent income. The days of working toward a pension have been long gone in most cases, and now, even our 401ks are being hit. Working hard for a company no longer means you have a job for life. Or even past the weekend.
So what do you do? How do you create an income that comes month after month, with no limit to what you can make?
That’s where my SBI site comes in. I’m not the main breadwinner in our family (with four children at home, I’m the main breadmaker. Making money is secondary.) but my extra income each month comes in handy. And the nice thing is, no matter where I am or what I’m doing, I make money. If you already have a full time job, imagine how nice owning a web site making residual income would be?
What I should have done was build more and more SBI sites. Instead, I spent time working on other internet marketing schemes that never came close to reaping the financial rewards my Site Build It site did. I kick myself for that now.
There are SBIers who stay at home, travel the world, work full time jobs, you name it…they do it AND build web sites. There are SBIers who make enough to pay for their child’s private school education and others who are solely SBIers, taking care of their families completely through what they make on their sites.
I realize now I set my goals too low. My family’s fine for now, but what about the future. What if…?
In a desire to start over from scratch, I recently sold my SBI site. It was receiving upwards of 2000 visitors a day and had over 400 pages indexed by Google. But my heart just wasn’t in the site concept anymore.
So I decided to let it go. Within ten days, I sold the site for a year’s income. In all, it was a great transaction. We’ve got a little extra dough in our savings and I’ll get to work on things that interest me more.
Guess what I did as soon as the sale went through and the money hit my Paypal account?
I went off and ordered another SBI site.

I could not agree more about the state of our economy and the absolute lack of job security that is facing us every single day. I’m happy you found a way to make some extra money!
That’s really neat, I would love to make money doing this. I hate having to work for others and deal with traffic.
This is the first time I heard of this opportunity. It sounds interesting. I have a little money to invest and I want to invest it in a good cost. I might check out SBI.
That seriously is interesting, interesting enough for me to wonder what SBI sites all the way through and then click the link at the end to understand more. Thanks.
Thanks for the post, I am very interested in SBI now. I am so sick of seeing schemes on the internet, I never fall for them but I know others do. Good luck with your new site and I hope to get my own soon.
This sounds interesting, how do you make sites that sell anyhow? I will check out SBI for myself now, thanks! A whole year’s income for a site, for real?
I found this to be very interesting. Its seems as if I’m in the same boat as you, and should give this a try.
This is great!!! I would love to make money this way. There are so many things that I have tried so it couldn’t hurt to try one more.
Yes, the economy has gotten really bad. I have to thank God that my husband still has his job and just got another promotion. I too am a mom looking to help out and earn an income from home. Reading about SBI has interest me to take a look at it. Thank you.
Hey! I wish I could make that much money in that amount of time. Good Luck in the future, we all need in today’s economy. You can only hope it will get better soon!
Interesting concept especially for us stay at home moms looking for a little extra income.
Thats a great concept. I think I’ll try it for myself. I need some extra cash!
Well I’m glad to hear, things worked out for you by selling your site…I’m hoping to be just as successful with SBI.
I couldn’t agree more. I haven’t been able to contribute to my IRA either. The pink slip is coming! I think I’ll give SBI a try.
It seems that these days Everyone is looking for news ways of bringing in the cashflow. I know that I am one of them!
This looks like it bears further investigating. You are so right, nothing is certain in today’s economy and any extra income can surely help!
Very true! I think that in this economy, everybody should have several income streams since almost no one’s job is secure. Having a web site or other “side venture” is a great way to make sure you are never caught with nothing coming in and bills to pay.
